Donate your pre-loved children’s books at the Derby City Lab

As part of the Derby Book Festival Summer Edition, Derby City Lab will be one of the city-wide locations for the Children’s Book Drop.

The venue on Level 2 of the Derbion shopping centre will be taking in donated pre-loved books, which will then be distributed to youngsters who do not have access to books.

The only criteria is that the books should be in good condition – suitable for primary school children

Drop off any pre-loved books to the Derby City Lab, Colleague Box, Cubo or Huub from 30 May to 5 June 2024.

The lab can be found on Level 2 of the Derbion shopping centre, situated between Castle Galleries and Goldsmiths.
